Old Church Street Chelsea

The construction of a contemporary living room to replace an old summer house in the rear garden of the property.

The project presented various challenges, involving the retention of garden walls, underpinning and cantilevered foundations. The Planning Authority was keen to see the new ridge height at the same level as the existing structure.

A link to the main house was built in materials to match the new structure. The result was the creation of a particularly modern facility to an already significant dwelling in this desirable part of London.
